Walk along Oirase Stream, a natural gem of Japan and visit Osorezan (Mount Osore), one of the most sacred places in Japan, believed to connect this world with the afterlife. Head to Hakodate on the island of Hokkaido and learn about its history as a trading port for foreign merchants, and about the island's ancient heritage.
